We are delighted that the 2022 Prize – our 10th anniversary edition – will be open for entries from 18 April to 2 May. Entrants can look forward to an expanded range of prize benefits, including £4,000 for the winning entry, free manuscript reads through The Literary Consultancy, free entry to Arvon creative writing courses and more. This year, we have a host of additional writer development support for shortlisted and longlisted writers through the Prize’s unique Prize Plus programme, delivered in partnership with Peepal Tree Press, Inscribe, Ilkley Literature Festival, Arvon, The Literary Consultancy, New Writing North and Mslexia.
